Ann Dowsett-Johnston

Ann Dowsett-Johnston is the bestselling author of “Drink: the Intimate Relationship between Women and Alcohol”. Named one of the top 10 books of 2013 by the Washington Post, it broke the news on the “pinking” of the alcohol market by Big Alcohol. Her related TEDx talk has had more then 1.5 million views. 

An award-winning journalist, Ann has also served as a vice-principal of McGill University. Most recently, she went back to university to become a psychotherapist, and has a thriving practice As well, she teaches an international memoir-writing course called Writing Your Recovery. 

 Ann Has won many awards for her work, including an honorary doctorate from Queen’s University. She lives in Toronto, Canada.

Cindy Johnston

Cindy began her journey to sobriety during a Dry July campaign in 2018 in search of some answers to a mysterious health issue. After 2 years of embracing a sober lifestyle, the joy she found in being sober led her to become a Life Coach specializing in Grey Area Drinking and an Accredited, Certified EFT Practitioner.

As a Grey Area Drinking (GAD) sobriety coaching, having trained under GAD specialist Jolene Park, Cindy founded Soul Sobriety Coaching & Retreats and is an advocate for women’s health and wellness providing holistic women’s empowerment coaching with a difference.

As an EFT practitioner, Cindy gently guides her clients to uncover the beliefs that keep them stuck in self-sabotaging habits. She helps them discover the power within to take control over alcohol and develop lasting habits for wellness and a fulfilling life.

Ashleigh Mills

Ashleigh Mills is a writer, social worker and public health professional who lives on the coast in NSW Australia with her husband and cat. After years of being sober curious with many short breaks away from booze and trying to moderate drinking she stopped for a one year experiment after losing a friend to alcohol in January 2020. That was almost five years ago and she hasn't looked back! Ashleigh writes about alcohol free life and shares AF drinks on her Instagram account @thesobercoastieh-valued member of the sober community. 


Kate Jeboult

At the ripe age of 41, Kate first stepped into her first on-air radio gig. Before setting a 4am Breakfast alarm, she ran her own digital marketing business for eight years.

Kate made waves on social media with her self-deprecating and highly relatable videos around parenting, motherhood, nostalgia and general life - garnering almost 20,000 followers.

Now the Co-host of Triple M Breakfast in Townsville, Kate is known for her authentic and relatable take on life and has proven instrumental in creating innovative content for a new generation of listeners.

Beyond the radio waves, Kate is a mother, wife and in October 2023 ditched the booze.

Jen Hirst

Empowering women to thrive in sobriety, Jen Hirst has been on her own transformative journey since April 24, 2013. As a dedicated sober coach, Jen boosts women's confidence by integrating simple, effective habits from day one to help them feel their best and make sobriety stick

Her sold-out group coaching programs have helped hundreds of women from across the world own their sobriety with a GET TO mentality and a supportive community of women cheering them on every step of the way.

Dave Wilson (aka Sober Dave)

David is a grey area drinking and mindset coach, author of the best selling book ‘One for the Road’, podcast host and ambassador for alcohol change UK.

In December 2018, David was in a very different place. His marriage was in a really bad way, his weight had spiralled out of control and his blood pressure was dangerously high. He knew he had to do something and tried moderating but lasted two days.

After being challenged by a friend to give up alcohol for 3 months, he gave it up and hasn’t looked back since! David trained to become a grey area drinking coach and now helps others to give up alcohol by speaking about his journey at various events and through his podcast ‘one for the road’.


Craig Harper

Craig Harper is one of Australia’s leading presenters, writers and educators in the areas of health, high-performance, resilience, self-management, leadership, corporate change, communication, stress management, addiction and personal transformation.

He is the straight talking host of the You Project podcast and will run a masterclass on Self Sabotage - why we sabotage when things are going well and how to break the cycle.

Andy Ramage

Andy has been sober for 9 years and is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading alcohol-free performance coaches, or as the Happy Pear coined, “The Godfather of the alcohol-free movement’. Andy co-founded the OneYearNoBeer movement and recently co-created the Dryy app & alcohol-free community, which collectively have helped hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of middle-lane drinkers transform their health and happiness by taking a break from alcohol.

Dr. Brooke Scheller

Dr. Brooke is a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition, Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and the creator of the Functional Sobriety method. Dr. Brooke is a leader in this space, pioneering the understanding of how alcohol impacts the gut, our nutritional pathways, and the brain.

Having had a history of mental health diagnoses and addiction in the family, Dr. Brooke has always been interested in how nutrition and functional foods play a role in mood, brain health, and addiction.
